Bleeding Disorders Alliance Illinois will pay for the first year of the Advantage (adult) or KidSmart (child) membership, which includes a stainless steel ID and shipping and handling.

Why is wearing a MedicAlert bracelet so important? Imagine you are rushed to the emergency department at the nearest hospital, unable to give the emergency nurse your medical history. With a single phone call to MedicAlert, emergency response personnel can access medical history and records, protecting you against potentially adverse treatments or medication conflicts.

MedicAlert will provide:

• Personalized basic stainless steel ID

• Personalized member emergency wallet card

• Printed personal health record summary

• 24-hour emergency response service

• 24-hour family notification service
