Matching Gifts - Matching gifts (also called matching grants) are a great source of income for nonprofits that are often overlooked but can double the donation! Many businesses offer matching programs to their employees, meaning that when the employee donates to a nonprofit, their employer will donate the same amount, thus doubling the amount received by the organization. This is a great way to make a bigger impact. Not all companies offer matching programs, but for those who do, the process is usually very simple. The donor fills out their company’s matching gift form and submits it with proof of their donation (the receipt). Human resource employees can help with the process and answer questions. Whenever you make any type of charitable donation to Bleeding Disorders Alliance Illinois, it would be very much appreciated if you’d apply for a matching gift!
